Vision for Education is currently looking for a 1:1 Support for an ASD setting to join their team, this is a challenging yet rewarding position in a fully Autistic setting based in Kirklees / Huddersfield. 

This specific position is working mainly with a KS4 Male student who displays some difficult behaviours and also requires Personal Care. It is imperative that you have the right level of behaviour management and personality to support the young learner with his needs. The ideal 1:1 Support for an ASD setting will have experience with Non-Verbal young learners and ASD. 

Team teach qualification would be beneficial however not essential as Vision for Education offer regular CPD training.The ideal candidate for this 1:1 Support for an ASD setting role must have -

  • Experience in a similar setting
  • Background working with children with challenging behaviour.
