 1:1 Support Worker - Male Student

Vision for Education is working closely with a client SEND school in Kirklees who have a full time requirement working 1:1 with a young male with complex needs. Experience working in a similar SEND setting or in the community is advantageous for this 1:1 support worker role, particularly experience with Male individuals.

The school are ideally looking for a full time dedicated member of staff for an immediate start (Flexible around January 2018 start dates for the right candidate).

It is important to be of a calm demeanour to effectively manage challenging behaviour and support throughout the day. Working hours are 8.30am to 3.30pm Monday to Friday. This vacancy will be initially though Vision for Education, one of the UK's leading supply and recruitment agencies. Pay is £75 - £85(per day) dependent on experience. 

Team Teach training is required for this 1:1 support worker role. Vision for Education will provide FREE training and CPD for the successful candidate if they don't have so already.

This is a temporary requirement, there may be a longer term/ permanent position available for the right candidate if suited to the school setting and the particular student.
