An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and inspirational physical education specialist to join the school as second in department. You will need to be an exceptional classroom teacher who demonstrates high standards of delivery in a consistent manner, who is committed to improving achievement across all key stages and who understands the strategies required to accomplish this. You should be a strong leader with the ability to inspire both staff and students. You will be self-motivated, enthusiastic, and have an imaginative approach to leading and developing the curriculum area. Greensward Academy’s sports department achieves excellent outcomes at all levels of sporting activities and has been successful at national level for both boys and girls.
To work at Greensward Academy is to work at a school which puts the child at the centre of everything that they do. If a student’s strength lies in academic rigour, they will be challenged. If it lies in sporting prowess they will be developed. If it lies in creative expression, they will be inspired. The opportunity to work alongside engaged, motivated and resilient students, including those in a high performing Sixth Form, is one to be valued.
As a school, we understand the importance of instilling a sense of community into those who pass through our care whilst at the same time ensuring that, when they leave us, they are ready to shape our globalised world. With an emphasis on good manners, tolerance and acceptance, Greensward Academy can be rightfully proud of its students and staff. With our new buildings and open spaces, a dynamic curriculum offering opportunity for all and a pastoral care which sees everyone as an individual, we are confident that we have the right learning environment to ensure our 21st century learners are ready to embrace the challenges of our 21st century world.
