Eastbury is a successful, well ordered and inclusive 3-19 school serving an ethnically diverse community   The school was judged good with an outstanding sixth form in July 2018  and is part of a successful 6th form partnership arrangement with four other local secondary schools.

Eastbury is located within easy walking distance of Barking tube and mainline station.

We are currently seeking a 6th form Academic Mentor to work alongside teachers and senior leaders to provide support and promote inclusion for Sixth Form students.  The post is aimed at raising student achievement and aspirations and would involve a combination of in class support, withdrawal work and 1-2-1 support and guidance to help pupils in danger of underachieving academically.   The post is ideally suited to a candidate looking to embark upon a career in teaching.
