We are seeking an experienced and dedicated lecturer who can teach students on A-Level Business studies to achieve outstanding results.  

You will be working in a highly successful A-Level team, with access to excellent facilities for classroom teaching. In Business we offer EDEXCEL AS and A2 courses.  We have a strong network of employers who work with the College to provide excellent work experience placements to prepare our students to become outstanding ambassadors in the Business industry.   

We are looking for an individual with excellent Business Studies knowledge and experience of A-Level teaching. The successful candidate will be available for up to three days of the working week.

To comply with legislation, you are required to obtain a DBS check for your role. We will be asking Protocol National Ltd/Esafeguarding Ltd to undertake this process on our behalf.

Wigan and Leigh College is a further education college in Wigan, Greater Manchester, which has been providing education and training locally for more than 150 years. It employs around 1,000 staff and has a student roll of about 17,000. Further education students can choose the A-level professional honours programme or vocational qualifications such as BTECs. An expanding higher education portfolio of foundation degrees, top-up degrees, higher nationals and certificates is available to adult students of all ages, both full-time and part-time. 

Wigan and Leigh College operates from several sites across the borough: the Parson’s Walk Centre, School for the Arts and Pagefield Centre are in Wigan, close to the town centre. The Image Centre and Leigh College are close to the town centre of Leigh.
