About Us
Edgbaston College, founded in 2015, is a small independent sixth form college located in Birmingham. We are a growing, but close-knit sixth form looking for an exceptional Mathematics tutor to join our team.
The core purpose of Edgbaston College is to 'Help students fulfil their ambitions' - whether that be getting into a specific university, course or even career. To that end, we have small class sizes and provide strong pastoral support. Not only does this help our students achieve strong results, but also makes for a very enjoyable working environment.
About the Role
This is a flexible and part-time position for tutoring students GCSE and A-Level Mathematics at our premises. The number of hours on offer are subject to the tutor's availability.
The position would require :
- Private tutoring students in a one-to-one setting
Requirements
- A minimum of an upper second-class UK Bachelor’s degree in mathematics or a mathematics-related subject
- Excellent subject knowledge and communication skills
- Ability to develop positive rapport with students
- Previous teaching/tutoring experience of A-Level mathematics
