QE Payscale (Full time £13,550 per annum) (Pay Award pending in September 2018)

All students who are registered with the Queen Ethelburga’s Faculty are entitled to a regular meeting with their Learning Mentor to review progress and plan effective learning. The Learning Mentors are school based staff whose job it is to address barriers to learning, which prevent students from improving learning effectively. They will work alongside teaching staff, and the existing pastoral systems, to give an extra layer of academic support for students. They will be approachable, non-judgmental and provide realistic guidance and coaching to assist students to reach their individual potential. Dependent on individual needs, mentoring will be provided either by means of group work or on an individual basis.

Please note that this is a non-residential position with no on-site accommodation being offered.
