Academy Business Manager

Barrow Hedges Primary School is seeking to appoint an experienced Academy Business Manager to develop, implement and manage school business systems and processes. The Academy Business Manager will be responsible for a wide range of administrative and business functions to ensure that teaching and learning are well supported and that the children are safe and happy.

The ideal candidate will be highly motivated and able to develop and maintain school budgets, in addition, they will take responsibility for academy level procurement, health and safety, premises management and enterprise activities. In order to deliver the diverse range of responsibilities, they will need excellent communication and interpersonal skills to operate in a complex environment with competing interests. as well as line-manage the facilities and accounting staff. 

The school is part of a larger multi academy trust, Cirrus Primary Academy Trust, the core purpose of the Trust is to develop the very best organisations to ensure that children do exceptionally well and are prepared for the future. The Academy Business Manager will liaise regularly with Trust level staff, Governors and give operational and strategic support to the Head teacher. 

Barrow Hedges Primary School is heavily over-subscribed and situated in a leafy, residential area between Wallington and Sutton. Its last Ofsted inspection was in February 2015 and the school was graded as GOOD in all areas.
