Job overview

Due to the expansion of the Academy, we are looking to appoint a creative and organised professional to help ensure that our building is the most vibrant learning environment possible.

Who are we?

Manchester Communication Primary Academy opened its doors in September 2014 to a small cohort of EYFS/Y1 children, since then it has grown by a 2-form year group each year. The school is currently up to Y4 and is embarking on the next phase of its journey – upper KS2.

Our recent Ofsted inspection graded the school as ‘Good’ in all areas as ‘The Principal has created a school with a ‘heart’; a kind, caring and supportive community. There are 25 different languages spoken yet every pupil is treated as a member of the same family.’ (Ofsted 2017)

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone with creative flair to help ensure that the Academy’s environment and displays are vibrant, showcase the children’s work and support the learning of children.

What does the role involve?

Creating and maintaining high quality displays throughout the academy building.

Ensuring that the learning environments are tidy and resources are well managed.

Supporting the development of play-time provision through the management of play resources.

When do the roles start?

The start-date for the roles is the 1st of September 2018

If I’m still interested, what should I do next?

We think that applying for a new role should always be seen as a 2-way process, you have to be right for us, but the school also has to be right for you. So if you are interested in applying, please do give us a call to arrange a visit or informal telephone conversation with the Principal or Vice Principal to discuss the role further.

Manchester Communication Primary Academy is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful candidate will be required to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure for a Regulated Activity via the Disclosure and Barring Service.
