ACTING ENGLISH/LOTE/LITERACY CURRICULUM LEADER - St John Fisher College, BRACKEN RIDGE

• hold current registration with the Queensland College of Teachers; and

We are seeking an experienced teacher for the role of Acting English/LOTE/Literacy Curriculum Leader within our College. It is a Tier 3 Middle Leadership Position which will attract an allowance of $15,810 per annum. This appointment will be a fixed term maternity leave replacement for the 2019 school year. The successful applicant will provide leadership in the development, implementation and supervision of the curriculum and its implementation within the English Department framework. Curriculum Leaders are the leaders of teaching and learning in the College and as such should be the visionaries for their department. They will demonstrate exemplary practice in learning and teaching, a commitment to the education of young women; have proven organisational abilities and effective communication skills.

St John Fisher College is a Catholic secondary college offering a contemporary education for young women. Administered by Brisbane Catholic Education the College has an enrolment of 528 students in 2018. With an emphasis on inquiry based learning, the College offers an academically challenging curriculum and a diverse range of pathways, particularly in the senior years.
