An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced teacher to join our highly respected and successful school as Acting Head of Religious Studies and PSHE. 

This role is to cover maternity leave from April 2020 and is likely to end during the Spring Term 2021.

You should have a proven track record of excellence in teaching Religious Studies and PSHE across Key Stages 2 - 3.

The successful candidate will:

• show real passion for their subjects

• be able to demonstrate a talent for motivating and enthusing young learners to achieve their best

• have excellent planning and preparation skills

• have the ability to problem-solve and manage classroom behaviour effectively

• be resilient under pressure

• show a strong commitment to promoting the well-being of pupils

• work collaboratively with colleagues

The ability to also coach games, as well as contribute to our exciting extra-curricular provision, would be an advantage.
