Salary: GLF G5 £21,169 - £23,800 Pro Rata £19,433 - £21,849

Location: Meridian High School, Fairchildes Avenue, New Addington, Croydon, CR0 0AH 

Contract: Full-time – 36 hours per week , 42 weeks a year, fixed term contract (one year)

Start date: ASAP


We are looking for an Administrative Assistant to provide an efficient and effective administrative and finance support as a member of our school's office team. The successful candidate will promote a professional and friendly point of call to all parents and visitors to our school.


Please see a list below of the key accountabilities:

·         Raising purchase orders

·         Goods receipting

·         School Uniform Shop

·         Managing lettings: site visits for hirer, agreeing charges, sending booking forms, T&C’s, policies, checking availability, dealing with complaints, communications, debt collection

·         Producing best value paperwork

·         Recording supply teacher costs and checking invoices

·         Administering trip paperwork

·         Administration of parent pay and other online payment platforms

·         Credit card management

·         Chasing debts (hirers)

·         Reception cover (30 mins per day)

·         Duties: Lunch duty – twice a week

About Meridian High School

Based in New Addington, Croydon, Meridian High School first opened under it's current name in 2015. It was previously known as Addington High School and has around 1,200 pupils. The secondary school and sixth form was named for the prime meridian line, which passes through the school grounds.
