We are seeking to appoint a full-time or part-time Administration Assistant to join our passionate team from September 2019. This is a crucial role designed to support the school’s busy office, providing support to its students, parents and staff. Excellent communication skills, ability to work in a busy team and a high degree of confidentiality are key requirements.
Turing House School is an inspirational new 11-19 secondary school, currently with years 7 to 10 with strong specialisms in STEM and Music. Our first four years have established us as a successful and exceptionally popular school, being oversubscribed with waiting lists for each year group. Last year we were delighted when Ofsted judged as good overall with outstanding leadership and management as well as personal development, behaviour and welfare. The school’s new-build permanent site in Whitton will be ready during the academic year 2020/21, with state of the art facilities. Until then we are based in high quality accommodation on two sites in Teddington and Hampton. The successful candidate will work primarily at the Hampton.
You will join us at an exciting time with our first academic year of GCSE exams and planning and recruiting for our sixth form that opens in 2020, providing a rare opportunity to make a mark on the new school and develop your career with us.

- have experience of working in a school environment or a similar role
- have NVQ 2 or equivalent qualification or experience in relevant discipline
- have knowledge of particular subject/technical area
- be patient, flexible and adaptable
- have the ability to manage own time effectively and operate as part of a team

Turing House opened in September 2015. It was set up by a parent-led group and became the fifth school in the Russell Education Trust (RET), the largest group of free schools in the country. We are now in our eighth academic year and this September we welcomed our third cohort in to our sixth form, again welcoming students from other schools to continue their education with us.
Turing House School has had enormous local support since it was first proposed and has been oversubscribed for every intake so far. In May 2018, we were pleased when Ofsted judged us as good overall with outstanding leadership and management as well as personal development, behaviour and welfare. The support to staff provided by the knowledge and experience in RET is invaluable. RET secondary schools are among the most successful in the country; the Progress 8 score for the Trust’s first set of GCSE results in 2018 placed RET among the top MATs nationally and our EBACC entry and success rate is the top ten nationally. Our external results so far have been very pleasing with 2022 and 2023 results at KS4 deemed to be significantly above national averages. All post 16 students gained a place at university if that was their desired goal, with one student being places at Cambridge in 2023.
To continue to develop the vision for Turing House School, we need the very best staff who are able to embed our ethos into their teaching and wider school life. We have already created a wonderful environment for young people to learn and mature in and we continue to develop this as we settle into our permanent site. Our aim is that all our students can be equipped to progress to the jobs, training and higher education most suited to their talents and abilities, irrespective of their social or economic circumstances and ultimately have high aspirations for themselves and their future.

- Cover Supervisor on a Casual Basis - to start as soon as possible
- Enigma Room Coordinator - to start in April or as soon as possible
- Learning Support Assistant - to start in April or as soon as possible
