The successful applicant will:

  • have a commitment to and understanding of the ethos and traditions of Catholic Education;
  • currently hold or be eligible to hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card; and
  • be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment.

We are seeking an Administration Secretary for a Fixed Term contract until 7th December. The successful applicant will have demonstrated general office skills, advance computer skills, be proficient with eMinerva, enjoy being part of a busy team but also work independently. Being able to commence as soon as possible would be a distinct advantage.


Seton College is a Catholic secondary school, situated in Mt Gravatt East with an enrolment of 330 students.  We offer families a co-educational pathway to life-long learning based on Christian values. In a very special way, we at Seton College seek to help all students with their schoolwork and the development of self esteem and self-confidence. This is done in a caring way where Christian ideals are valued and encouraged. The curriculum is similar to those offered in any regular High School. However the College has a special focus in that it provides opportunities for students who have experienced difficulties with their schoolwork in earlier years.

Employment Conditions:   Diocesan Catholic Education Employing Authorities in Queensland Single Interest Agreement 2015-2019


This position involves working with children.  The appointment of successful applicants will be subject to satisfactory employment screening for child related employment in accordance with the law.
