This is a part-time role – ONE DAY PER WEEK (FRIDAY)

Hours of work: 8.30am – 3.30pm term-time only (with one training day per year)

Salary: Support Staff Grade 4, Point 3 (Meridian Trust)

£20,812 (FTE per year); £3126.72 (Actual per year)

 

We have a vacancy for an enthusiastic and well organised administrative assistant. You will be part of a small and friendly office team and your role will be busy and varied. Your work will include reception duties, greeting visitors, answering emails and telephone calls, inputting attendance and school lunch orders, managing pupil records including admissions data, overseeing arrangements for school trips and after school clubs plus general office duties. The role will also include midday supervision of pupils and a willingness to undergo first-aid training would be desirable.

The ideal candidate:

  • A good educational background - GCSE qualifications or above
  • Experience of working in a school or office environment
  • Possess outstanding communication skills and can work well in a team
  • An understanding of child protection and safeguarding issues
