As an Administrator, you’ll help make your school run like clockwork. You’ll be involved in running the reception and supporting the Senior Administrator with managing the day to day administrative tasks associated with running a busy school. With your efficient, professional approach you’ll be responsible for accurate files and production of reports. Additionally, you will be working alongside the Special Education Coordinator arranging and taking minutes at all relevant EHCP and Annual Review meetings.

To join us, you’ll need some previous administrative experience and a high degree of computer literacy (Word and Excel). You should be used to working on several administrative tasks and be able to switch between them, whilst providing excellent customer service to people contacting the school. Just as important is an approachable, helpful nature, you should be ready to support our team and build a natural and respectful rapport with our young people.

For children with complex, challenging needs, the level of care and education must go above and beyond. That’s what drives us, here at Witherslack Group. Through our aspirational homes, schools and ethos, we’ve achieved the highest possible outcomes. In short, we’re enhancing life opportunities.

Hall Cliffe School is a day school catering for up to 104 boys and girls between the ages of 8 and 16. The school is located in a beautiful Grade 2 listed building, with state of the art facilities, which allow us to deliver a creative curriculum. Alongside our academic subjects, our young people have access to our brand new, off site Vocational Centre that opened in September 2018. We offer courses such as Motor Vehicle, Construction and Hair and Beauty, allowing our young people to grow and reach their full potential.

Reward

We know you’re going to do great things. We offer a salary and benefits package that’s among the best in our sector. You’ll enjoy a competitive salary, contributory pension (matched up to 5%), Life Insurance based on two times your annual base salary, comprehensive induction and ongoing training, 35 days’ holiday (including bank holidays), Medicash Health Plan/Employee Assistance, and Cycle to Work Scheme. Witherslack covers DBS Enhanced check costs to all new employees.

For an informal discussion about the role please contact Becky Watson – Senior Administrator on 01924 663420.

The Witherslack Group is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of its young people. This post is subject to an enhanced DBS check. We are an equal opportunities employer welcoming applications from all sections of the community.
