DCG- Derby College Group are working in partnership with Nottingham Trent University& Derby University, Nottingham City Council and Nottingham College to deliver an ESF match funded programme High Level Skills. The High Level Skills project is working with businesses to create a more creative and productive workforce through 2 complimentary projects 'Priority Skills for D2N2SMEs and Grads for D2N2.


As Administrative Co-ordinator you will have responsibility for the effective development and organisation of the administrative processes for the High Level Skills project.  You will provide a frontline comprehensive administrative support dealing with employers, and associated internal and external stakeholders. A commitment to providing a high level of customer service is paramount.


The successful candidate will have a good standard of general education indicated through GCSE grades or equivalent including grade 9-4 or above in Maths & English and be Educated to Level 3 or equivalent. The proven ability to work with high levels of accuracy and attention to detail together with the ability to liaise with staff at all levels and to respond flexibly to a changing environment is essential to this role. Previous experience of working on ESF programmes is desirable. 


For the successful candidate a full driving licence and own transport will be required.


Interviews will be held on Wednesday 28th August and Monday 2nd September 2019.

Derby College is a large general further education college with four sites in or near the city of Derby. It supports around 26,000 learners, who choose from more than 1,000 full-time and part-time apprenticeship, A-level, BTEC and NVQ courses.   

Derby College was established as a single institution in 2002 by merging three further education colleges: Mackworth Tertiary College, Wilmorton Tertiary College and Broomfield Agricultural College. A merger between South East Derbyshire College and Derby College was approved in 2010. Heavy investment has been made by the college in its teaching and learning facilities, from the fully equipped teaching kitchens at the Roundhouse campus to the high-tech science labs at the Joseph Wright Centre and the Equestrian Centre at the Broomfield Hall campus.
