We are looking to appoint a highly organised, pro-active, professional and experienced Admissions & Attendance Officer to join our team in the school front office.
The successful candidate will provide administrative support for admissions and whole school attendance, as well as carrying out a number of important administrative responsibilities within the school. They should possess excellent organisation, administration, communication and IT skills (SIMs and admissions knowledge is essential).
This role is term-time plus 1 week and hours of work will be 8:30-4:30, 5 days per week.
Responsibilities will include:
•Management of pupil data – the successful candidate will be required to carry out the school census, track and monitor pupil progress and attendance
•Lead on the admission of new pupils
•Tracking and analysis – collecting assessment data and entering onto Target Tracker and producing termly reports
•General administration and be front of house when required and welcome visitors within safeguarding requirements.

We are looking for an individual who can share the founding vision and ethos for Preston Park, (please visit the school and look on the school’s website). They must be excited by the chance to contribute to Preston Park Primary and driven to do what it takes to succeed.
The successful candidate should be computer literate and able to operate a range of resources and specialist ICT (SIMs experience is essential) equipment/programs.
They must be able to absorb and understand a wide range of information and have the patience and ability to converse with parents and provide advice and information in accurate spoken English.
The individual should be able to work flexibly and part of a team, as the Admission & Attendance Officer role is part of a very busy school office.
Previous knowledge of school admissions and monitoring of attendance is vital, to be successful in this role.
