After School Club Leader

The Head Mistress of Lancing College Preparatory School at Hove, Kirsty Keep, invites applications for the post of After School Club Leader, which becomes available in January 2021. 

The Role

The post holder will provide quality play and care within the framework of Lancing Prep Hove policies and procedure and be responsible for the day to day management of our Pre-Prep After-School Club. 

Essential Criteria 

The post holder must hold an appropriate Level 3 qualification along with the following experience:

• working with 3 to 7 year olds 

• working in a supervisory or • management capacity  

• Administration 

• Delivering equal opportunities in a play setting 

• Understanding the varied needs of children and families 

• Appropriate child protection training 

• Providing and facilitating safe, stimulating play 

• Ability to work as a team member and demonstrate leadership skills • Excellent     communication skills  

• Ability to work on own initiative, using judgement and common sense
