Vision for Education (part of TES) are a well-respected education specialist supply agency.  Our Huddersfield branch covers Kirklees, Calderdale and Wakefield.

We are currently assisting a Calderdale school, rated 'Good' in their most recent Ofsted inspection, in their search to appoint a suitably experienced Alternative Provision Manager.  The ideal candidate will have experience working with an alternative curriculum, working with low-ability and disengaged students including staffing the school's Seclusion Room.

As part of the role the school would like someone who can project manage the transformation of an empty building into a workshop/greenhouse/construction area for hard to reach students.

This is a permanent role to start September 2018 and is on a full-time basis.

To be considered for this position you must:

  • Have experience working with low-ability, disengaged students
  • Have experience working in alternative provision or providing an alternative curriculum
  • Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed staff team
