Charnwood College is now recruiting for an Apprentice Caretaker, to join us as soon as possible. This role at Charnwood College could be the ideal next step in your career and is a fantastic opportunity to join a hard working team of school caretakers!

About the role

You will be responsible for security, safety, cleanliness and general maintenance of our school site.

This is a hands on role, requiring a range of practical and DIY skills.  IT skills would also be desirable but training will be provided.

Salary & Benefits

  • £4.50 per hour
  • 37 hours per week, hours are flexible and negotiable - dependent on bookings.

Charnwood College is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational, 11-18 academy with sixth form, situated in the west of Loughborough in Leicestershire. The academy is part of the David Ross Education Trust and is governed by a Local Governing Body.

The secondary academy has expressive arts facilities which include a dedicated music suite and dance and drama studio. In addition, its sports facilities include a floodlit, all-weather 3G sports pitch, a new sports centre, a 25-metre indoor swimming pool, a gym, a fitness suite, and extensive playing fields.
