The role of the Apprentice Teaching Assistant is to work alongside teachers in the classroom, helping pupils to get the most out of their learning. Duties will include: · Support children and young people to be able to access all areas of the curriculum as directed by teacher/SENCO · Supervise and support children and young people ensuring their safety · Be aware of and comply with safeguarding, health & safety, confidentiality and data protection policies and procedures · Prepare classroom as directed by the teacher · Help prepare displays, resources and workbooks · Work with individual pupils who need extra support and guidance.
