GEMS Wellington Academy Al Khail is a Premium National Curriculum for England School, located in the rapidly expanding Dubai Hills development. The Primary section opened in September 2013 and Secondary opened in September 2014. About the Role: 

We are looking for an experienced teacher to teach AQA GCSE Food and Nutrition and other KS3 DT classes to join our fantastic Visual Arts team at Gems Wellington Al Khail, Dubai for a January 2022 start. As a Food Technology Teacher you will be responsible for the Yr11 practical exam and preparing the pupils for their final theory exam. 

Successful applicants will have:

  • A certified teaching qualification with exceptional subject knowledge
  • The ability to teach food technology at KS3/KS4
  • At KS3 able to teach a mix of DT areas such as Textiles, Art, Food and some Product Design.
  • Experience of working within a high performing teaching team
