Job overview

Vision for Education are recruiting for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant who can support students with complex Social, Emotional and Mental Health difficulties. You MUST be qualified to HLTA level to be suitable for this position, as well as being confident in the planning and delivery of Art and Design classes. Your timetable will be split between the delivery of the Art and Design program and supporting across various different classes.

This position is to being ASAP and would be ongoing on a supply basis, with the ultimate aim of going to a permanent position.

Due to the nature of the students you will be working with, strong behaviour managements skills are necessary and the ability to form solid relationships with challenging young people is a must.
