We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, organised, and reliable individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work as a technician in the art, music, technology, and drama faculty at Jane Austen College. If you are enthusiastic about these subjects and enjoy inspiring others, this is a wonderful opportunity to use your skills and develop your experience within a friendly team.

Relevant experience within a secondary school setting is desirable although appropriate training will be provided. If you think that you have the skills and attributes for this exciting role we would be pleased to hear from you.

Jane Austen College is an 11-19 secondary school in the heart of Norwich. We currently have Years 7, 8, 9, 10, 12 and 13 within the school and look forward to welcoming a new year group in September. Growing gradually is allowing us to create an exceptional school, with the highest of standards. We are an English specialist school, with an additional post-16 specialism in humanities and the arts. We are also partnered with Sir Isaac Newton Sixth Form – the region’s first maths and science specialist sixth form.

We are committed to offering excellent professional opportunities and learning opportunities for our staff, through careful support and personalised CPD. We offer a structured and specific induction programme.
