Falkner House is a very happy and successful selective school with extremely bright and enthusiastic children.   The school has a very strong academic tradition, the pace is fast, learning is enjoyable and the curriculum is broad.  Art plays a critical role in the life of the school.  The successful applicant will be confident, flexible, have a good sense of humour together with good organisational skills.  They must also be motivated and enthusiastic with a strong interest in working with children and a dynamic approach to teaching art.  

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required together with a strong work ethic and initiative.  Common sense, practicality and above all a sense of humour are also required!  

They will also wish to play a significant role in the general life of the school.

The role is for approximately 13 hours per week spread over Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

Falkner House Brechin Place is a school for girls between the ages of four and 11 with a co-educational nursery for children aged three to four.

Falkner House Penywern Road is a school for boys between the ages of four and 11 with a co-educational nursery for children aged three to four.
