Teacher of Art (ability to teach some DT preferred but not essential) required for January 2019.

We are seeking to appoint an individual who loves to teach and loves to learn and who has a passion for all aspects of Art.  This is an excellent opportunity to join a popular and successful department in one of the oldest Catholic schools in England and is an excellent foundation for further career progression. 

This experienced department is popular at KS4 and KS5 and the College also attainment is good. The role arises due to a colleague relocating and they currently teach some Design Technology lessons, so a willingness to teach this would be ideal but not essential.  The successful applicant will be passionate about the subject, able to teach all areas of Art, be well organised and willing to go the “extra mile” to ensure pupils achieve. 

We are looking for applicants who are highly motivated and ready to contribute to helping the College as we build on our 2016 Good OFSTED rating.
