o Demonstrate consistently the positive attitudes, values and behaviour which are expected

o For the right candidate there may be opportunities for progression to a Head of Faculty

o An ability to teach another subject would be an advantage

The Role

We are seeking to appoint an inspirational and ambitious Aspiring Leader of English & Languages to join our Languages faculty.  This will be our third year and as our students move towards GCSE we have created this role which for the right candidate will lead into them becoming the department lead in 2018/19.


We are looking for someone:

To develop and implement Teaching and Learning initiatives and strategies throughout the faculty and school which raise the teaching practice of all members of staff and therefore raise student standards and progress.  

To be a model of excellent practice, maintaining a clear focus on outstanding delivery to learners, ensuring a centre of best practice and excellence.  

To take a lead role, working closely with the Senior Leadership Team and other leading practitioners in developing, implementing and evaluating policies and practices that lead to school improvement.
