An exciting opportunity for a qualified teacher has arisen to be involved in developing apprenticeships within Teaching and Learning at Richard Huish College. Richard Huish currently offer the level 2 and 3 apprenticeship in Teaching and Learning. The role advertised will involve supporting apprentices through their diploma qualifications and then development work for the foundation degree and the post graduate teaching apprenticeship. The position requires some teaching and some observation of practice within the work place alongside assessment of the qualifications being delivered. This post is permanent part time (0.6) all year round
Salary: £25,445 - £27,209 FTE

Richard Huish College is a Sixth Form College situated in Taunton, the County town of Somerset. Huish prides itself on its academic excellence and strong reputation across Somerset and the Southwest, it is more than a Sixth Form College, it is a place where students can expand their horizons and develop their futures. Huish is also one of the best Sixth Form Colleges in the country, with strong outcomes and a long history of ‘adding value’ to students.
Huish has over 2,500 students studying A Levels, Level 2 and 3 vocational courses, Apprenticeships and professional qualifications (up to Level 7). Huish is proud to have established and be part of the Richard Huish Education Group, working collaboratively with a local 11-16 academy and five primary schools. All students are supported by a strong ethos of personal attention and support, helping students to achieve the best results they are capable of.
The College is based on a beautiful, green campus which it is continually developing to improve the learning environment of students. Recent building projects include a sports hall, Visual Arts Centre and state of the art Music Centre.
