We have an exciting new opportunity for an Assistant Head of Learning Support to assist our Head of Learning Support (SENDCo) in leading and managing College’s provision for girls with special educational needs & disabilities (SEND). The successful candidate will assist in ensuring the continuation of high quality teaching and learning as well as the effective use of resources, so all girls achieve to the best of their ability.

As well as having a specialist qualification in Specific Learning Difficulties; PG SpLD or Level 7 Diploma in Assessing and Teaching Learners with Dyslexia/Specific Learning Difficulties, a current Assessment Practitioners Certificate (APC) or Assessment for Access Arrangements Certificate (AAA) and evidence of up to date and relevant training in meeting the needs of children with special educational needs, you will be able to inspire, empower and motivate students to engage with new initiatives and developments and to encourage them to take responsibility for their own learning and development.
