We are seeking an Assistant Head of Primary, for KS1, to join our team in August 2019. The right candidate will have a proven track record of leading in an excellent primary school, where the emphasis is on student learning, academic outcomes, and exemplary pastoral care. The successful candidate will be a strongly committed team player, with the drive, energy and passion to invest in the future vision of providing a world-class education in Shanghai.
They should be an adaptable educator and innovative leader, with a passion for learning, and good knowledge of the rigour that underpins high standards. They should also be an exceptional classroom practitioner. A good motivator, communicator and administrator, they should be capable of managing flourishing key teams in a high profile, international environment. They will support the Head and Deputy Head of Primary in providing quality leadership. This would be a particularly suitable post for a candidate with ambitions for future headship.
