ASSISTANT HEAD OF SCIENCE – Full Time / Permanent

MPS / UPS + TLR2A (£2,666.00)

Our staff are highly motivated, enthusiastic and welcoming. They create wonderful learning opportunities for our students within and beyond the curriculum. We have an ‘Outstanding’ ethos as recently celebrated in our recent SIAMS inspection 2016. Our new purpose built facilities are impressive and help us meet the needs of our fully inclusive and comprehensive intake. We invest in our staff to develop teaching and learning to secure the very best student outcomes. St Luke’s is an exceptional place to work.

For January 2019 we wish to appoint an enthusiastic and inspiring Assistant Head of Science, with a focus on leading KS3, to join our department and make a significant contribution to its continuing development. We are looking for a talented classroom practitioner, who can be creative, dynamic and can communicate their passion to all students and teach using a student centred approach. Classes in KS3 are mixed ability, so the successful candidates will need to differentiate in order to support and stretch students.
