We are seeking to appoint an innovative and dynamic Assistant Head of Science who is able to teach across Key Stage 3, 4 and 5 in any specialism. Both NQTs and teachers that are more experienced are welcome to apply. The work is varied, rewarding and an exciting opportunity to help in the delivery of education to young people.

You will need to have QTS and a good honours degree in the relevant subject area as well as an excellent track record of achieving better than expected outcomes for young people in Science through consistently excellent teaching.

The successful candidate will need to be able to work with the Head of Science to support a large and diverse team. You will be looking to continue developing as both a teacher and a leader inside and outside the classroom.

The successful candidate will believe wholeheartedly in the potential of every young person to achieve academically and will find that it is this driving principle that motivates all that they do.
