As Assistant Head of Year you will support Heads of Year and other Assistant Heads of Year with the pastoral needs of students. The role suits a candidate who is passionate about working with children and helping them reach their best potential during their secondary education.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Empathy with young students;
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure;
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office;
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to be flexible;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to help liaise with students, parents and staff      across the school.

The post is for 37 hours per week, term-time + 5 INSET days and 2 Result Days during the summer holidays. Starting salary at Grade 8 (Points 26 to 29) with actual salary of £20,417.10 – £22,644.85, based on term-time only plus 7 days.
