We are an alternative provision free school, operating across two school sites, dedicated to promoting the wellbeing and success of all within our community of students, families/carers and staff. We provide support and challenge to all members of our community in developing their skills, in having the courage to try new experiences and in learning to celebrate their success. Spiritual, moral, social and cultural values are embedded throughout our school day. We are proud that our recent Ofsted inspection report contained the following statements:

“The Academy of Central Bedfordshire is an innovative alternative provision free school”

“The vision of a more meaningful education and improved life chances for previously disaffected young people has been made real”

“Students say that the academy is making a positive difference to their confidence and to the way they feel about their learning. They say it is helping them to achieve better outcomes than they had previously expected.”

We will build upon the good work of the last two years and use it as a secure base from which to achieve our ambition of providing an outstanding learning experience for every member of our community.
