An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious,dynamic and highly capable teacher to apply for the newly created position of Assistant Headteacher, at the ISA affiliated Elmhurst School for Boys, in South Croydon.
The Assistant Headteacher will be an integral part of the strategic development of the school, be adept at creating systems and processes and will have overall responsibility for the organisational routines at Elmhurst School. The post will come with a reduced timetable of teaching responsibility and would suit someone with experience of being a middle leader looking to take the next step, or a member of a Senior Leadership Team wishing to further their career by taking on key areas of responsibility . It is likely the successful candidate would be looking to move to a more senior role, after a suitable period.
The successful candidate will need to be committed to the shared vision of Preparing Boys for the 21st Century through the provision of an all round education and a curriculum which blends tradition with innovation. A commitment to the wider school curriculum is essential. He or she will be able to support the delivery of the school’s ethos, vision and culture through their personal values, professional conduct and educational philosophy.
