The ISM has established itself as a prestigious and well-respected educational institution. It now serves a diverse and vibrant community of 800 students aged 3-18, drawn from over 50 nationalities. Student numbers are growing. Most students are Monaco residents or live in the nearby Côte d’Azur towns or villages. The school has a warm and welcoming atmosphere and prides itself on fostering a friendly, caring environment in which young people can thrive academically and develop as individuals with a strong sense of community and an international outlook.

As an international school, ISM is committed to supporting students to be successful global citizens. It offers a bilingual education up to the end of Year 6, and from Years 7-13, the opportunity to study two additional languages. The school has just entered the formal consideration phase for the introduction of both the IB PYP and IB MYP.

ISM is accredited by the Council of International Schools (CIS). Since August 2020, the school has worked in collaboration with the prestigious and outstanding King’s College School, Wimbledon. Through this partnership, ISM benefits from an extensive range of educational support and services. The school is also accredited by the World Academy of Sport (WAoS) as an Athlete Friendly Education Centre (AFEC) in order to recognise and accredit the support given to the many high-performing athletes in the school.
