Job overview

We are seeking to recruit an experienced, dedicated and highly motivated practitioner to join our senior leadership team and to lead on SEND provision in the main school. 

John Ruskin is an outstanding primary school with a highly regarded Language Unit for children with language disorders.  

The successful candidate will have:

·        National SENCO award or willingness to complete

·        Knowledge of SEND Code of Practice

·        Be an excellent practitioner who can provide evidence of good or outstanding teaching

·        Have high expectations of all children

·        Be committed to professional development

·        Be dedicated and able to motive and engage pupils

·        Understand the importance and promote the key principles of inclusion and safeguarding
