The Assistant Housemistress/master shares in the pastoral responsibility for the well-being of students outside of school curriculum time. Under the leadership of the Head of Boarding and Housemistress/master, the Assistant Housemistress/master is expected to understand and be prepared to commit to the Catholic ethos of the school.

The successful candidate will have experience working in a boarding school, and have obtained, or be willing to study for, a BSA qualification. They will have excellent inter-personal skills and the ability to relate to students, aged 7 to 18. This is a residential post available to teaching or non-teaching applicants. The post holder will be required to supervise either the boys’ or girls’ Boarding Houses and have the ability to interact across Boarding Houses during the weekend.

A competitive salary will be offered, dependent on skills and experience.
