Assistant Principal

We wish to appoint an experienced Assistant Principal to lead on Teaching and Learning across the College. This is a really exciting time to join us in our pursuit of ‘restless excellence’. We live and breathe the ‘community’ in our title every single day. Everything we do is informed by student and parent voice and we don’t do anything unless it is for the right reasons, at the right time and in the right way. Every staff member in our community could tell you the principles of Rosenshine, the importance of reading and confident writing and why these fundamental principles will improve students’ experience. The vision for what great teaching practice looks like is there; now, the implementation and the securement of this vision is the next most significant step for the College. The successful applicant will be able to contribute to the development of teaching and learning practice across the Trust via quality assurance visits and trust wide CPD. You will work alongside other expert colleagues on the Senior Leadership Team and you will need to be strategic and systematic as well as absolutely reliable and effective. We are seeking a colleague who is experienced, dynamic and has excellent leadership skills. This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate who will be ambitious for our whole school community. We are looking for a visible and proactive leader with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, who will build strong relationships with students, staff and parents/carers; and motivate the whole community to ensure that all students achieve their best.
