Job overview
Due to the promotion of one of the Assistant Principals to Vice Principal, the school are looking for an inspirational, committed and dynamic new Assistant Principal to lead on aspects of whole school curriculum and teaching and learning, and to lead the Creative Faculty, including by supporting the Head of Art in the further development of this department.
The school welcome applications from high calibre candidates who currently teach creative subjects, however, Art as a specialism would be an advantage.
As a member of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), the Assistant Principal will work in the school's exceptional facilities to contribute to the overall leadership and management of the academy and support all staff to work according to the Trust’s vision and values. The new Assistant Principal will:
- Be a strong classroom practitioner with the ability to impact significantly on student outcomes across all key stages
- Have the required leadership abilities and ambition, coupled with strong management and communication skills to work with the staff team and student body to facilitate rapid and sustainable improvement
- Have a strong belief in the power of education to transform lives
