Assistant Principal – Kindergarten:  

We are currently seeking for an outstanding Assistant Principal – KG for Al Rayana School to commence August 2019. 

The purpose of the Assistant Principal is to provide professional leadership for the school to promote high quality education for all students and continual improvement in standards of learning and achievement.  This will include supporting the Principal in ensuring that:

• The school provides high quality learning and teaching that leads to successful outcomes for students in terms of spiritual and moral growth, achievement, attitudes to learning, behavior and personal development.

The Successful candidate is required  to provide professional leadership and management for the Kindergarten phases and be accountable for:

• High quality learning and teaching.
• The implementation of effective and appropriate pedagogical practice to meet the needs of students.
• The effective leadership and management of the Kindergarten team.
• Efficient and effective use of resources.
• Curriculum research, planning and development.
• Writing focused development plans and effective self-evaluation documents.

Requirements

• BA in Early Year Education or BA Degree with PGCE is essential
• Ability to establish positive working relationships with a range of stakeholders
• A good knowledge of primary pedagogy and the American Curriculum
• 6 years of experience in related fields (4 years in Leadership and 2 years in teaching)
