This is an exciting opportunity to join the senior leadership team of an Academy that is having a substantial impact on pupils’ lives. Joining us, you will ensure access to the curriculum for all pupils. You will be responsible for the effective co-ordination and identification of needs, appropriate intervention and mentoring. You will also monitor and evaluate the impact of the interventions for all pupils requiring additional support. You will lead an Inclusion Team and be responsible for the budget, QA and PDR of your team.
You will be an exceptional middle/senior leader with a demonstrable commitment to helping all pupils achieve their best, despite their background. With high expectations of behaviour, you will motivate staff and pupils through high-quality leadership and management. You will be an innovative manager, able to analyse and interpret Academy data to support clear, strategic decisions. You will be well supported by the senior leadership team at the Academy and the Education Support Team of the Trust to ensure that the overall Academy vision is achieved.
We are situated in Peterborough, one of the UK’s fastest-growing cities, and as part of the Greenwood Academies Trust (GAT), we are transforming the life chances of our pupils by ensuring that every child can succeed, despite the challenges they may face.
We ensure that staff are highly motivated and committed to achieving the highest standards. Our £23 million state-of-the-art building boasts facilities that are arguably some of the best in the county and include fully equipped specialist rooms, a dance studio, theatre and high-tech ICT equipment.
We are committed to supporting pupils and staff alike. Providing pupils with the highest quality education is of the utmost importance but we recognise that in order to achieve this, teachers and staff must be properly supported with strong leadership, a climate of trust, research and innovation, and ongoing CPD opportunities.
We are part of the Greenwood Academies Trust (GAT), a highly successful Trust with a proven track record for school improvement. The Trust provides centralised services and support to enable staff to focus on teaching. Being part of the Trust means that we are able to share specialist best practice and work collaboratively with colleagues in other academies.
