Loughborough College is seeking an enthusiastic individual with a keen eye for detail, to join the Finance team as an Assistant Procurement Officer.
The position plays a supportive role in the delivery of the procurement strategy, establishing key relationships at all levels of the college by providing comprehensive, flexible and efficient procurement administration duties to assist the Procurement Team.
You will work independently and under supervision, undertaking procurement activities including quotation, tender documentation, updating and maintaining databases and analysing information to produce reports.
The ideal candidate will have a wide range of administration experience and be highly computer literate, having an extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office programmes. You will be committed to providing excellent customer service with the ability to work with staff at all levels across the organisation, being confident in liaising with both internal and external stake holders. You will be ready to learn new systems and skills, and work in a highly organised manner to meet deadlines through prioritising workload to manage conflicting demands.
