Job overview
We are looking for a committed and inspirational Assistant Subject Leader for Science who will relish the opportunity to drive curriculum planning, support the tracking of data and interventions and the development of teaching and learning in the department.
Are you passionate about Science, teaching, and learning? You will have strong subject knowledge, together with an enthusiasm for team work and collaboration. The ability to teach A Level Physics would be an advantage.
Do you want to teach Science in a school where our core purpose is learning and teaching? We are looking to appoint a dedicated, ambitious teacher who can enthuse, motivate and empower children, to help them make the best progress possible. This is central to everything that we do. We have a new state-of-the-art building and site and this has given us a fresh boost, in an environment that is truly fit-for-purpose. We had above average progress scores at both GCSE and A Level in 2018 and provisional data for 2019 is also positive. This is both a challenging and exciting time to be working at Plantsbrook School.
