We are seeking to recruit an Assistant Swimming Pool Manager to support the running of the swimming pool facility on behalf of all three schools of Ardingly College and for Ardingly Projects Limited during key lettings periods from September 2018.
There is a requirement for the successful candidate to be an ambassador for Ardingly College and to see beyond the immediate needs of the pool and show a commitment to the pupils by attending out-of-hours galas and be prepared to attend and encourage swimming both in and out of the College.
Candidates should be a qualified Level 2 ASA Teacher, with experience of teaching swimming. They should be self-motivated, have the ability to work well in a busy team environment and be able to communicate effectively with staff, parents, pupils, customers, and clients.
Qualifications in NPLQ Lifeguard Trainer Assessing, Swim Coaching, First Aid and Minibus Driving would also be an advantage.
Hours: 40 hours per week, 52 weeks per year. There will be a requirement to work some evening and weekends, for which time off in lieu is given.
