The Role
Join our team of graduate parateachers, working at Heath Lane Academy and earn whilst you learn. As a parateacher you will be supported to hit the ground running gaining immediate experience of working with young people and building a portfolio of evidence to secure career progression. Our parateachers benefit from a structure programme of support and professional development, designed to rapidly build skills and confidence in the role and many choose to become a qualified teacher

A wide range of out-of-school activities extends students’ experiences, and strongly supports their spiritual, moral, social and cultural development. The progress of disabled students, those who have special educational needs and those for whom English is an additional language is just as good as that of other students. Students feel safe and say they are looked after very well in the academy.”
