Job overview

Secondary Phase

Astrea Academy Trust

Astrea Academy Trust is in an exciting period of growth and development. To support our ambitions, we seek teachers both qualified and unqualified who have high aspirations for the children and communities we serve. These are exciting new roles to establish a pool of Astrea Supernova Teachers (ASTs) who can work as our internal supply staff across our academies, enabling Astrea to achieve consistency and excellence in practice even when teachers are absent or training.

This opportunity will enable the successful candidates to work in a unique, effective and flexible way across the Cambridgeshire region. AST’s will be deployed in the event of capacity requirements at any of these academies with an expectation to react quickly to the needs of the Trust.

Astrea Academy Trust is committed to high quality professional development and career opportunities for all staff, we are also passionate about cultivating our own talented workforce. At Astrea we believe that we can provide these unique roles by providing a huge opportunity to join a dynamic team working across our family of academies to raise achievement.

Specialist training will be provided to support and prepare the successful candidates enabling them to make a real difference in a truly revolutionary way by supporting Astrea in our mission to “Inspire beyond measure” as well as developing their own careers in an original way.

We foster a collaborative culture where talented individuals can produce their best work. We welcome all external applicants who meet the criteria in the accompanying recruitment pack to apply for this exciting role.
