Job overview
Benenden School is seeking to appoint an athletic development coach with experience and/or demonstrable knowledge in youth athletic development. This new role will be vital in helping promote the physical ability and well-being of all pupils, as well as supporting our representative squads and sports scholars/elite athletes. You will be a key member of the fitness team and the Physical Education and Sport Department, which comprises of over 30 teachers and coaches. The successful applicant will be a team player with the ability to be flexible and think creatively.
Benenden is one of the leading boarding schools in Britain. We were founded in 1923 and are situated in 250 acres of attractive parkland in Kent. There are 550 girls in the school, aged 11-18, with 190 of those in the Sixth Form. We are an ambitious school, with recent developments including a state-of-the-art Science Centre and All-Weather Sports Pitch, and we are currently working to establish a new School Hall and Music School.
Meals are provided to staff whilst on duty. The School’s leisure facilities, including a fitness gym and swimming pool are available for staff to use.
