
Attendance and Medical Officer

We are looking for an Attendance and Medical Officer to join our friendly and motivated team at Harris Academy Peckham.
Your opportunity
As Attendance and Medical Officer, you will support the improvement of attendance and punctuality in the academy, working alongside the Assistant Principal and Data Officer to develop policies and monitor and report on attendance matters. You will also have responsbility for maintaining the Academy First Aid and First Aider list training plans, including for specific medical needs of students as shown on care plans, such as Epi-Pen and Defibrillator.

What we are looking for
We look for talented individuals who want to be a part of transforming education in London, and helping create exceptional places of learning. The successful candidate will:
- Hold qualifications to degree level (or equivalent)
- Have at least three years' experience of working in an inner city school or educational experience
- Have knowledge and experience of using Microsoft software and CMIS
- Have knowledge and experience of managing attendance systems
- Be able to demonstrate basic knowledge of first aid (such as completion of an emergency first aid course)
